When you buy your own hosting, you will received your’s hosting Login & Password details. E.g. Domain: abc.com, User Name/Login: admin, Password: 12345678. Use these setting for FTP.
1) Get lot FTP applications in the market, some need to buy & some are FREE. For me, I use this FTP program call FileZilla, very good FTP program & is FREE!! Go here to download http://filezilla-project.org
2) After install FileZilla, open it. Go to File -> Site Manager.

3) Click “New Site” button. Give it a name, for easy remember, name is same as your domain E.g. abc.

4) At the Host column, put your domain name, E.g. “abc.com“. Servertype, select “FTP - FileTransfer Protocol“. Logontype column, select “Normal“. User, put in your username, E.g. “admin“. Last, Password, E.g. “12345678“. Finish fill in, click “Connect” button. If success login, you will see the message: “Status: Directory listing successful“.

5) Left hand side is your Local computer area. Right hand site is your server area. Double click the folder name “public_html” on your server (some hosting may not name it as public_html”). Just drag the files you want to upload from your local computer into it.

6) You will see the upload/download status on the bottom window.

Done. Have fun with your FTP program!!!
