I have been using Paint.Net all the while but I just find adobe photoshop is much better. Do you know is there any good free graphic editor which functions like photoshop?

You have got advantage in designing your blog template since you are a graphic designer, am I right? Anyway, do you have any good recommendation of free graphic editors. I have no money to purchase the original adobe photoshop and I do not wish to use pirated version one.
