Blogspot (Blogger.com) is a popular free blog platform. But it get SEO disadvantage. From the default sources, it don’t have meta description and meta keywords.

Without meta description and meta keywords, the percentage to let search engine search your blog will be very low. To solve this issue, you need to manually add in meta description and meta keywords.

Step 1
Log in to your Blogger Dashboard. Click on “Layout“. On the Layout page, click “Edit HTML“.

Step2
Select the Expand Widget Templates.

Step 3
Find this code <b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>

Step 4
Copy the code below:
<meta name='description' content='Your description'/>
<meta name='keywords' content='Your keywords'/>

Step 5
Paste the code below of <b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>

description - keyword

Step 6
Replace the red words with your own description and keywords. And “Save Template“. Done.

Reload your blog and go to view sources, your should see the meta description and keywords. Happy blogging :)
