1) Submit your site to Search engines
Make sure your website get submit to search engines, may be not all but at least the most popular Search engines, like Google, Yahoo & Live (MSN). If not no one can search your website.

Go to Google.com, type in your domain, abc.com. If no match found, mean your website not yet submit to Google.

Before you submit to search engines, you should check have you key in your website <title>, <description> and <keywords>.

You can find these 3 sections on top of your HTML file, e.g.
<title>your title here</title>
<meta name=”description” content=”your description here” />
<meta name=”keywords” content=”your keywords here” />

2) Create a blog
Make sure write your own content, if you want to have long term business. Don’t just copy other people content or put other blog RSS feed in your blog. Unless you have purpose to do it this way. Try update your blog everyday. If not at least 3 times a week.

If you do Women dresses business, create a blog & sharing your experience & wearing tips. Make interactive with the customers. Provide useful contents & informations. Customers will feel more confident about you & your products. This will not just increase your website traffic but also your sales.
 

3) Use YouTube & Google video to Promote Your Site
These day a lot people use YouTube & Google video to search & watch video. If your video is good enough, this can bring traffic to your website.

Let said if you are doing Woman Accessories, create a short video to introduce your product & upload it to Youtube & Google video. Enter a title and keywords for every video you submit and this information helps people find your video when they do a YouTube & Google video search.

And if people find your video useful, they may embed it to their website or blog. This will promote your website & your Brand too. Through the viral way, it will increase your website traffic.
